History
Named for the wife of Charles L. Tutt, the Eleanor Armit Tutt Branch was opened on June 3, 1984. Mr. Tutt was Chairman of the Board of the El Pomar Foundation and his father was a partner of Spencer Penrose in Cripple Creek gold and Utah copper mining enterprises back since the late 1800's. The front of the club features the original keystone of the Boys Club built in the early 1900's in downtown Colorado Springs. The Eleanor Armit Tutt Branch continues to provide exceptional after school youth development programs to southeast Colorado Springs with an emphasis on D2.
