Open Positions:

Branch Director

Position: Branch Director for Traditional Boys & Girls Club

Pay Scale: $31,200/year + benefits

Start Date: August 8th, 2019/ASAP


Required Hours: Full time

We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to manage our Tutt Boys & Girls Club with ages 6-18. We provide amazing opportunities and programs for our members. We need someone who is excited as we are to make a positive impact in their lives!

Requirements:

1) Must be at least 25 years of age

2) Be qualified to work with youth by a combination of education and experience.

3) Manage branch staff, volunteers, and ensure that appropriate interactions are taking place between club members and staff and volunteers. Also, conduct weekly staff meetings to keep staff up to date on organizational information and give quarterly staff evaluations.

4) Documentation/reporting of attendance to the Accounts Receivable (AR) specialist and Director of Operations (DO).

5) Collect and keep accurate financial records and communicate with both parents and the AR specialist.

6) Making sure that programs/activities are being run and documented on weekly bases. A monthly site report is completed on programs and turned in to the Director of Operations.

7) Ensure administrative and operational systems are in place to maintain the operation of the physical property and equipment of the club, including use of the facility by outside groups. Ensure compliance with organizational policies.

8) Create a relationship with the schools in the area and stay in communication continuously.

9) Submit to fingerprinting and a criminal background check; complete training provided by our organization in CPR, First Aid, Medications Administration, and Universal Precautions

10) All employees must submit to a criminal background check and drug test; and ongoing background checks and drug tests throughout employment.

PROGRAM LEAD

Position: Program Lead

Pay Scale: $13.00 per hour

Start Date: August 8th, 2019

Required Hours: 20-25 hours per week


Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region (BGCPPR) is looking for energetic and passionate Program Leads to work with ages 6-12 within our traditional locations. BGCPPR offers amazing opportunities and programs; BGCPPR needs someone who is just as excited as our organization to change and impact their lives!

Duties:

  1. 1) Plan, implement, and document successful Boys & Girls Club programs in the areas of academic success, character and leadership, healthy lifestyle, and art activities with school-aged children.
  2. 2) Adhere to policies and procedures in a pro-active manner, making the safety and care of children your primary focus.
  3. 3) Build a positive relationship with each club member in your care and foster positive connections between participants.
  4. 4) Conduct yourself as a professional and representative of the organization with school staff, parents, children and anyone else with whom you come into contact in your role.
  5. 5) Maintain and enforce rules and behavioral policies.
  6. 6)Be a contributing member of the team.
  7. 7) Inspect and clean, on a daily basis, facility and equipment. Check supplies and be sure all are accounted for and request more supplies if running low.
  8. 8) Actively participate in all aspects of staff or member development, weekly team meetings, pre-service training, and an additional 15 hours of training during the school year.
  9. 9)Participate in special programs and or events. These events may be scheduled at times when the club is not open.
  10. 10)All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

1) Candidates must be 19 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, and have experience with school-age children (6-12 years old).

2) Must have afternoon availability. El Pomar hours: M-F 2pm-7pm; Tutt hours: M-F 3pm-8pm

3) Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) and background check.
