BOYS & GIRLS CLUB GROUP LEADER

Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region (BGCPPR) is looking for an energetic and passionate Group Leader to work with ages 6-18 within our traditional locations. BGCPPR offers amazing opportunities and programs; BGCPPR needs someone who is just as excited as our organization to change and impact their lives!

Position: Group Leader

Pay Scale: $10.50 per hour

Required Hours: 21-25 hours per week

Duties include:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all members through active supervision.

  • Leading and monitoring daily activities and operations of the site.

  • Planning and implementing daily curriculum/activities for multiple Boys and Girls Club programs.

  • Assisting in consistent site alignment with state licensing standards and requirements.

  • Candidate’s availability must be flexible; afternoons are required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be 19 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, and AT LEAST 384 verifiable experience hours with school-age children (6-18 years old).

  • Candidates must a pass a background check and drug test. 

  • Candidates should take initiative, be resourceful and creative.

E.A. TUTT BRANCH DIRECTOR

Branch Director needed for Traditional Boys & Girls Club

Position is Full time @ $13.00 hr.

We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to manage our Tutt Boys & Girls Club with ages 6-18. We provide amazing opportunities and programs for our members. We need someone who is excited as we are to make a positive impact in their lives!

Requirements:

1) Must be at least 25 years of age

2) Be Director Qualified by Colorado State Standards through education or experience. Have a degree in Education or a Human Relations field, w/verifiable hours working with children.

3) Manage branch staff, volunteers, and insure that appropriate interactions are taking place between club members and staff and volunteers. Also, conduct weekly staff meetings to keep staff up to date on organizational information and give quarterly staff evaluations.

4) Documentation/reporting of attendance to the Accounts Receivable (AR) specialist and Director of Operations (DO).

5) Collect and keep accurate financial records and communicate with both parents and the AR specialist.

6) Making sure that programs/activities are being run and documented on weekly bases. A monthly site report is completed on programs and turned in to the Director of Operations.

7) Ensure administrative and operational systems are in place to maintain the operation of the physical property and equipment of the club, including use of the facility by outside groups. Ensure compliance with organizational policies.

8) Create a relationship with the schools in the area and stay in communication continuously.

9) Submit to fingerprinting and a criminal background check; complete training provided by our organization in CPR, First Aid, Medications Administration, and Universal Precautions

10) All employees must submit to a criminal background check and drug test; and ongoing background checks and drug tests throughout employment.

11) Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
